At the Terumo Learning Edge (TLE) Training Center in our US headquarters, we strive to deliver innovative product, clinical and business solutions training to our internal and external customers. We do so by developing and executing revolutionary educational programs to meet growing business needs – including simulation-based learning, hands-on workshops and theoretical and skills training. As a result of our unwavering commitment to education, we have remained a trusted partner to our associates, healthcare provider and customers across the Americas region.

Located at MicroVention headquarters (HQ), the Technology Evaluation and Training Center offers practical training programs to healthcare professionals in interventional neuroradiology, aiming to enhance their technical skills using tools such as the Angiosuite, simulators and flow models (including 3D printing). The center also allows for device evaluation and verification testing, pre-surgical treatment planning (replicated case) and internal staff training.

Providing an immersive experience and a dedicated space for associates and practicing clinicians who seek to enhance their skills and knowledge, the Terumo Cardiovascular OR (Operating Room) Simulator and EVH (Endoscopic Vessel Harvesting) Training Center provides training programs that consist primarily of in-person sessions, with some video training available as well. These programs cover perfusion-related training for the OR Simulator and EVH, endoscopic radial artery harvesting, and Beating Heart surgical tools for the EVH Training Center.

Providing customers with an understanding of our device performance as well as the most effective treatment methods, the Terumo Chile Training Center is a great location to discuss customers’ unmet needs.

Offering customized content and clinical scenarios for healthcare professionals to promote patient safety, Terumo Medical de Mexico Training Center provides the optimal techniques and devices to solve clinical challenges. A simulation-based learning (SBL) leadership and multidisciplinary approach provides comprehensive training programs covering various areas of expertise. Specialized simulators such as the Beating Heart model for catheterization, vascular, entry-site management, emergency bed, and heart-lung machine are all available.

Located at Terumo EMEA Headquarters, Terumo Europe NV, in Belgium, the EMEA TIS (Terumo Interventional Systems) Training Center provides simulation-based learning and hands-on workshops for healthcare professionals in interventional cardiology, peripheral interventions, and interventional oncology, focusing on complex procedures and complication management. Our training center offers 20 different types of practice models as well as tours of our manufacturing site.

Offering premier internal training for new and existing Terumo associates in cardiovascular technology, the Terumo Deutschland GmbH Training Center is comprised of two rooms: one for lectures or theoretical training and the other for hands-on training and simulation. The wet lab helps trainees understand Terumo Cardiovascular products, including the surgical product portfolio (EVH, Aquabrid® and Beating Heart). There are demonstrations available for all types of Terumo oxygenators, perfusion disposables, and tubing packs, including drawing training. Basic perfusion training is provided using the Terumo Advanced Perfusion System 1 and Heater-Cooler Systems.

A simulated training facility and academic exchange platform that aims to improve the clinical field, the Education and Training Center also develops next-generation medical devices and enhances healthcare professionals’ clinical skills. The facility is close to the production site, providing opportunities for factory visits and technical exchanges.

Providing comprehensive learning experiences for healthcare professionals (HCPs), the Terumo India Skill Lab aims to improve their knowledge acquisition, skill development, and personal growth. With state-of-the-art equipment, expert instructors, and interactive simulation scenario-based training, the facility offers various courses to meet the learning needs of HCPs.

Situated in the heart of Seoul’s Gangnam area with excellent accessibility across the Seoul metropolitan area, the Terumo Korea Skill Lab strives to enhance the clinical expertise and knowledge of healthcare professionals. The facility provides a variety of vessel models to refine interventional skills, including simulations for off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery, graft replacement, perfusion, and emergency bypass system product training. Additionally, our future initiatives include incorporating intervention training through virtual simulators to broaden the scope of educational activities.

Located at the company’s Hanoi manufacturing plant, the Terumo Vietnam Training Center offers training for healthcare professionals on proper use training and intervention skills. The facility is also used by associates for product evaluations, and guests can visit the manufacturing site and observe production procedures.
